Tokyo Olympics: Neeraj Chopra wins Gold Medal

Neeraj Chopra created history by winning gold in the men’s javelin at Tokyo Olympics.

His throw of 87.58m was enough to earn him gold medal in Javelin Throw.

Neeraj Chopra became only the second Indian to win Gold Medal as Individual athelete in the Olympics after Abhinav Bindra in 2008 Olympics and first athelete to win gold in athletics.

With this India has surpassed the 2012 London medal tally of 6 medals.

As India have won total 7 medals (1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze), and nevertheless it has been India’s one of the best Olympics campaign in Tokyo.
